Cruisers Tree, San Jaunico, Baha,MX

The Cruiser Tree is a bush setting in San Jaunico Bay. Great place to dive, beauty of the mountains and three beautiful beaches. Two years ago Cindy & I went to the Cruiser Tree and left a Plaque of wood for our friends we have met on the way to see. Also if we went back there was something for us to look forward to, that is seeing the tree again. I did not go to the tree in 2009 and I was spending most of my time in Canada. When I left Cindy the last time I remember setting on the front step of her sister and brother-in-law's house talking about the Cruiser Tree. Cindy wanted me to open the wine bottles and read the notes she had written for me.

I have to tell you I could not wait to get to the tree and see if my bottles were still there. Their had been a Hurricane go threw last year and I told Cindy that it would be lucky if anything is still there including the tree. I stopped in Santa Rosalia and met a couple with two kids and I asked them if they had been there? they said yes, did you see "Grumpy" plaque?? the lady said yes, it had "No Regrets" on it. I said yes, then I asked was there two wine bottle on the wooden plaque?? she said "NO". Well my brother and I went a shore to find the plaque and the wine bottle and to no avail there were no wine bottles. A very sad day for me.

  1. Barry,

I'm so happy that at least your tree was there and the plaque. The loss of the bottles is hard, but you still have the great memories the plaque will bring to you each time you go there. Judy
